Mark Twain Wild West Festival

The annual Mark Twain Festival (formerly known as Gold Rush Day), is TENTATIVELY scheduled for Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at the Angels Camp Museum.
The Mark Twain Wild West Fest Committee — a bunch of highly creative and resilient individuals — is planning a series of events over the next year that will celebrate the 154th anniversary of Mark Twain’s visit to Angels Camp and the writing of “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County.”
